We are a 4 Star Resort in Negombo with an inventory of 55 keys. We are looking for individuals with a passion for excellence and the drive to deliver an experience of a lifetime to our guests.
- Process reservations by mail telephone, or central reservation systems referral.
- Process reservations from the head office OTAs, other hotel departments, and navel agents.
- Know the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout.
- Know the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packaged plans.
- Know the credit policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation.
- Prepare and following up of levers of confirmation.
- Process cancellations, modifications and communicate other reservations related correspondence promptly to the front desk.
- Understand the hotel’s policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
- Walk around with the client and ensure that they secure whatever services they are in need of,
- Make arrangements for dents navel programs.
- Be aware of all front office procedures and assist with reception duties when required.
- Willing to undertake any reasonable request made by management to assist in any other areas of the organisation.
- Open and close the availability as and when needed on OTA channel manager and on the hotel website.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent knowledge of OTAs -Maintenance of high quaky scores and Yield management.
- Hotel school Diploma or equivalent qualification in a hospitality related field.
- Should be dynamic, focused, proactive and result-oriented.
- Highly capable at multitasking and managing a wide range of projects simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills together with a very high level of computer literacy is essential. (Multilingual communication skills will be highly regarded).
